The stem research project consisted of student research and interviews, they utilized the engineering process. Students built a product for the visually impaired to replace pricey guide dogs using VEX IQ parts only. They utilized 3 ultra sound sensors, and programmed them to alarm the customer when they were within 800mm of length. Students had blind people test the product and received advise from an educator for the visually impaired and improved on their product.
